A tragic love story situated in virtuality and driven by virality, employing parallel and layered visual narratives. This digitally generated film is an exploration of VR aesthetics and merges slit-scan and lenticular photography with Edvard Munch’s The Scream.

Supersad(e) iterations merge slit-scan and lenticular photography aesthetics with Edvard Munch’s The Scream.

The parallel and layered visual narratives are a response to the modern audience’s increased bandwidth to process several storylines and point of views simultaneously. This is reminiscent of the animated GIF and GIF sets.
